CHECKOUT |
CHECK-OUT TIME is 11:00 AM There is no need to meet with us on checkout. Please remember to leave the FOB in the Lockbox downstairs and lock the lockbox. If you have a car please remember you will need the FOB for the parking elevator. Shortcut: When you leave the parking garage by the exit gate, on the right and left side are some parking stalls. You could park there and there is a door that goes right to the lock boxes. Remember to hold the door open so you get back to your car. Lost FOB: the building charges us $50.00 so
this is your cost. This is a NO Smoking apartment and building
including the lanai. |
GROCERIES |
An ABC Store (similar to 7/11) is a 1 minute walk away. Directions:
Exit the building and then turn Right. The ABC store is on the next
corner past the Marriot. A McDonalds is across the street from the entrance. An IHOP restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner) is across the street from the ABC store. A nice place for many types of snacks and foods is Dukes Lane. Directions: Exit the building and turn Left, after 1 block look across the street on Kuhio Ave and you will see it. |
For large stores, in Ala Moana Shopping Center (10 minute drive) there is a large Foodland Farms grocery store, hours 5am to 11pm. Also inside the Target store they sell groceries, hours 8am to 11pm. There is a Don Quijote store at 801 Kaheka Street. |
|
LAUNDRY |
A large washer and dryer room is on the 7th floor, hours 7 am to 10 pm. You need quarters since the machines do not take credit cards. Current cost is $2.00 for a washer and about $2.00 for the dryer. We do offer free laundry soap, it is under the kitchen sink. If you need more quarters, there is a Central Pacific Bank at 333 Seaside Ave next to the Ross's store. Please remember there is no maid service during your stay so you are responsible for your own wash. |
TRASH |
Trash bags can be throw away in the trash chute in the Trash Room on the right side of the elevators. Tie the top of each trash bag then drop it down the trash chute. |
BEACH |
Waikiki beach is about a 10 minute walk (please see map). When on Kalakaua Ave you turn Right after the Cheesecake Factory restaurant to a walkway that has surfboards lined up on the side. Also Fort DeRussy/Kahanamoku Beach is a top beach in Hawaii. The route on the map is either Lewers Street, Beachwalk or Saratoga Road. Lewers Street is a busier street with many stores. For
snorkeling in the Waikiki area the best beach is either Kaimana
(Sans Souci) beach
or Queen's beach on the East (Diamond Head) end of Waikiki. Park by
Kapiolani park or the small street by the War Memorial Natatorium. |
POOL |
The newly remodeled pool and the recreation deck are on the 7th floor. |
FITNESS Room |
